A DSK Benelli is all set to launch a new motorcycle during January 2017. To be called as Benelli BN 302R, the motorcycle shall arrive in the Indian market during the middle of January 2017. The exact launching date of DSK Benelli BN 302R has not been finalized.
The upcoming Benelli BN 302R has received the green flag from Automobile Research Association of India (ARAI), which is a certification authority for all vehicles. Initially, the motorcycle is first known to be called as Tornado 302R which has now changed to BN 302R.
DSK Benelli BN 302R Specification
The DSK Benelli BN 302R is base on the TNT 300, a full-faired version of the 300cc naked. In looks, the front is radically different from the TNT 300, getting a full fairing and the split headlamp, though the rear is quite similar to its naked 300cc. The 300cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine makes 35bhp of power at 12,000rpm and the 27Nm of torque at 9,000rpm. Its have the six-speed gearbox, and the bike comes with a USD fork at the front and a rear monoshock. The Benelli BN 302R’s braking system consists of front dual-discs and a single disc mounted at the rear wheel.
The expected prices of DSK Benelli BN 302R to be in the range of INR 3.5 Lakhs in the Ex-Showroom Delhi.

 Engine and Power
The new DSK Benelli BN 302R is going to be powered by 300cc, and liquid cooled parallel twin engine.
The engine is capable of delivering 35bhp of power at 12000 rpm and 27Nm of torque at 9000rpm.
BN 302R’s engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox. 4. It has a USD fork at the front and monoshock at the rear.
The bike is expected to perform better in handling as compared to TNT 300 because of the lighter frame.

 Suspension, Brakes, Weight
The suspension system of the DSK Benelli BN 302R consists of an upside down forks front and monoshock rear units.
The brakes, DSK Benelli BN 302r, gets dual discs in the front, and the single disc mounted at the rear wheel. BN 302 gets ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) as a standard. Braking power comes from a 260mm dual petal discs up front and the 24mm single petal rear disc brake.
It has a kerb weight of 180Kgs and the rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with Meltzer tyres.
The DSK Benelli BN 302R shares its compoents and engine with the TNT 300. And It is expect that it will give around 25kmpl mileage.
