Google is upgrading its Cardboard VR headset with the Google Daydream.
Daydream view is a virtual reality (VR) platform developed by Google. It is announces by Google I/O on October 4, 2016, and going to release in Autumn in the same year. With additional sources indicating a November 2016 date.
Google first show off Project Daydream at its I/O conference in May. Now, they are showing off its Daydream View, a VR headset that will work with Daydream compatible phones, including the new Google Pixel.
The Daydream View is unique because it comes with a remote control that cleverly tucks into the headset when not in use. The remote enables you to control your phone wirelessly and precisely for navigating menus, and playing games in Google Street View.
It is made out of soft, breathable microfiber so that it is will be comfortable to wear.
What is Use of Daydream View
A Daydream headset provides the immersive virtual reality for a wearer. The Daydream View carries a special remote to navigate application and games. It is use for computer games, simulators, and trainers and also uses for other applications.
Google is also partnering with YouTube, Netflix, HBO and Hulu to make video playback more immersive too.
They contain a stereoscopic head-mounted display stereo sound, and head motion tracking sensors in which include gyroscopes, accelerometers, structured light systems, etc.
VR headsets also have eye-tracking sensors and gaming controllers.
How much will it cost
The Price of Daydream is just $80 which is inexpensive. It is going to be available in three colors, slate, snow and crimson.
