Sports Come Back Of Gautam Gambhir To Test Match

Gautam Gambhir who is Opening batsmen of Indian cricket team. Gautam Gambhir returned to the Test team after a break of two years. In the place of injured Kannur Lokesh Rahul for the remaining part of the New Zealand series.

 

A great Duleep Trophy tournament and chance to get back Gambhir in the team. The next test match between India and New Zealand at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Gambhir’s comeback in by his performance in the Duleep Trophy where he scored 356 runs. He had the four back-to-back half-centuries in five innings with two scores of 90 up.

Gautam Gambhir has not playing for India from last two year since August 2014. The erstwhile selection committee chair by Sandeep Patil did not believe that Gambhir had international cricket player left in him.

Now, the selection committee fix, the new panel, led by MSK Prasad,  brought back the veteran to the national team fold.

 

Jayant Yadav who is Off-spinner has also asked to join the team in place of Ishant Sharma, who is suffering from chikungunya disease and will not play the second Test Match. Jayant is still to make his debut for India in Tests. The BCCI in a release said they would continue to monitor Ishant Sharma health.

Gambhir is all exciting on his call back to the Indian side. And said that it is an ‘unbelievable feeling.’ for him.

“It’s a feeling of nervous, it’s a feeling of being excited as well,” Gambhir told that.

“Gambhir say that whenever you represent your country, especially in Test cricket, the most important format of the game, it is very exciting. Few people get to chance to play with the blue cap on and to get the chance it is an unbelievable feeling for me.

He said “I think that is going to happen with everyone, Whether you play a hundred Test matches or you play one Test match when you approach a Test match you are nervous. During the start of a Test match, the important thing is how much you can control your emotions. As an opening batsman, I have always felt at the began on day one if you go in first, you will always feel nerves, but they will ultimately settle down the more time you spend time in the middle.
